Re: Pro Course

Hey guys, Anyone have Info about attending Ari Ben.
Will They Fly You Everyday? (Seems like they have too many Students over 200)
Will they deliver what is promised without Me Having to shell out More Money. (really 3 months)
How long did it take you?
Would you advise attending ariben? What was your experience.
Thanks>

I Emailed AcuWings when I thought I was moving to Seattle and they never replied with any info. I emailed them at least twice. Not the type of place I want to do buisness with.

Rostato,
my apologies to you. I am the owner of the business and we try to run a good company as we can with my wife. We try to answer as many emails as we can but it has been our experience that some emails that are sent through the website fall into the spam category..

Good luck to you with your training..

Looks like I meailed you back.

Economics 101 FF, A recession is two consecutive quarters (that six months for us public school kids) of NEGATIVE GDP. In the US we've had a slight slow down in the growth of the GDP (still positive growth) but no negative growth at all. Eagle made 52 Million in profit last year, most of the regionals are profitable, you really think their slowing down?

Stop watching CNN and hit those books FF, and don't forget your MEDs!

You'd think is was an election year!! Oh, wait.....?
Bill

Good point.....the media has been hyping up the "recession" when there isn't one. The irony is, we usually don't we are in one until after it is over. I will also point out, it is an election year, and the mainstream media tends to favor a Democratic candidate, hence all the doom and gloom.

They passed doom and gloom a while back, we're into the going to hell in a handbasket now:panic:

I did see a piece on E85 tonight here in the metroplex, seems a couple of liberal colleges (Princeton and Mich.) ran the numbers and figured out that E85 was going to cause more pollution than fossil fuels:eek: I just love it when facts and hard science run over the treehuggers.

Re: Pro Course

Not everyday. 3 months would be impossible at the moment.

What about five months or so. I understand no flight school is perfect and being proactive goes along way. With that said, I'm looking to train somewhere that I can utilize my VA benefits.

Would you say completing the courses through MEI is possible at all, the way it's going at Ari Ben?

I recently talked to a student pilot at Aviator over the phone and he said that as long as your proactive, get a good instructor, and miss holidays and hurricane season you should be able to get it done ine about 5 months.

I am going to attend starting in June and using my VA benifts also. I am bugeting 7 months just to be safe.

Thanks for the update. The VA pro course at Aviator sounds like a heck of a deal if you can get it done. Maybe it's a little nerdy on my part, but the solo dutchess time is a pretty big selling point.

rostato, have seen the changes to GI Bill that just went through. GI Bill

I'm not exactly sure what it might do for a flight program. It states that REAP is now eligible for accelerated payments. That could mean more reimbursement, but I'm not sure.

If you would, stay in touch about aviator through pm or whatever. It's likely we might end up there around the same time. I'm going to come down and take a look regardless.

I did not know about the changes. Thats would be sweet if we got more reimbursment! The solo time was a big seller for me too. I should be there in June if all goes well.
