My CFI expires at the end of this month. Although I'm currently with a regional , I still want to renew it online. Is it too late or can I do something like the Jeppesen online renewal?

I just finished the AOPA/Jepp. and loved it. Good content, good layout, and most of all it kept my attention. Check out the American Flyers renewal too. I think it's $125.00 and that allows you to renew for life.

I did Gleim's online in 2006, gonna do it again this may.



Open the "Study Aids" in a seperate window (they're PDFs) and use the search function to find the answers.

I spent 2 hours and a change on the ENTIRE test in '06. Unless you want to sit for 2 days, stay away from the classes. I have heard Amer Flyers is for life (they do a BFR for life too I believe).

I would do it online if i were you.

How long did it take you to complete the AOPA online FIRC? I'm trying to decide whether to spend my time in front of my computer or socialize with other pilots while forfeiting a weekend.

It took me about a week and that wasn't necessarily making it a point to do it every day.
