I had a interview with American Eagle on the 28th of January. Everyone was so welcoming and hospitable at the interview. My experience was great and I am very excited to be an employee of such a wonderful operation. The gouges were right on and I would be willing to post the gouge if anyone wants it. I got a call from HR earlier this week, and I picked the 18th of February as my initial training day. DFW is the base that I have chosen and from what I hear that = the SAAB. Bring it on! My times are 760 TT and 146 ME.
Thank you to everyone here on JC (CaptainBob, FlyChicaga, and many others) that have helped me along my journey. It was only less than a year ago that I posted a "hired thread" for a position as an Airport Service Agent. What a year it has been, and a lot of it is due to the great people at JC. A side note to any JC members or lurkers out there with little or even no flying time as they are reading this. IF I CAN DO THIS, ANYONE CAN! Whatever it is in life that you want.... go get it. Throughout my young life there has been hurdles, and bad times but that is all a part of it. I carry around with me in my wallet a fortune cookie fortune that reads..."nothing in life is accomplished without passion." I have probably been carrying that piece of paper in my wallet for the past 5 years and on Monday, just reading it really made me smile.
