Flew with Jtrain609 last night.

Once I clubbed him a few times enroute with the performance manual he finally stepped it up. I only had to take the aircraft from him once......

below 60 KIAS after his nice landing so I could make the high speed :D

In our jet, the CAs use the logbook. It's in one of those aluminum clipboards.

With pointy corners.

And those suckers HURT.....

Based on your other post, I guess you'll be following your own advice? :laff:

Congrats on the job offer!

Absolutely! Looking forward to moving to a different a/c, back to FO seat, etc. The endless learning cylce continues! Fun stuff.

Hey great to fly with you man! I learned more on 2 legs than I have on some 4 days.

So check this out, this turn with Cav was the end of a four day for me. We were 4 hours late getting into Newark, and I'm 2 hours late for this flight. I run up to the plane throw on my stuff, introduce myself and Cav's like, "Hey man, everything's done. Take your time and we'll get outta here."

I take the first leg, and on the climb out we're chatting about folks that we know and he asks how I know one of my buddies and I'm like, "There's this pilot mentoring/networking site, jetcareers.com that I met the guy through" and he's like, "I KNEW IT!" I KNEW IT WAS YOU!" I had already figured that he was another JCer, but it's like how do you ask a guy 15 minutes after meeting him, "So hey do you meet strangers off the internet? Wow! That's so cool, me too!"

It was an awesome two legs, and my bruises are healing well :)

Jtrain and I are not allowed to fly together ever again. The past several times, we've almost gotten killed in near misses either over the Texas plains or in the GKY traffic pattern.....

For the record. Jtrain did a fantastic job. In all seriousness he's a great asset to our pilot group.
