Gloves designed for civilian aviators

I have a pair of Nomex gloves, those worn by US military. I bought them from a pilot shop that catered to the Army. They worked great when I was flying cold planes, easy to turn knobs and hit buttons. I also preflight and postflight in them, and have had the same pair for almost two years now. I would recommend them!

:yeahthat: Cold Airplanes (GA that is) Military Nomex!

I miss wearing Nomex Gloves (Air Force), but I haven't seen anyone wear them at Delta. Oh well, that's why I have pant legs.

A student of mine use to have really sweaty hands while flying, and since our airport was right next to a golf course, he bought a pair of golf gloves.
It worked for him...

These are awesome gloves:D

Back in my Saab days most of the Capt wore gloves and tsome of the ex military guys had nomex gloves...That tiller is freaking cold as heck when the plane has been cold soaked all night.

The mechanic gloves wouldn't be a bad choice...I've seen some guys wear the gloves football wide receivers wear too.

I'll make sure to wear my Stand21 FIA approved Gloves/Boots next I fly in a DA-20... :sarcasm: Maybe the suit would be to much..
