Thought my head was going to explode!

And where did he do his training and how many hours did he have when he was hired?

Not sure......training at FBO in Conneticut. Think he had low hundreds when he was hired. (been here almost 1 year)

He's 21, give him a little time, heck when I was 21 I didn't care about pay rates either, I had no idea what the "real world" was like.

That.....right there......is EXACTLY my point why young people don't belong. Get some life experience to understand how your actions affect others.

Could be worse, you could have to fly with me again all month. :p

Ain't that the truth. ;) j/k, How's being home treating you?

So me being 21, I guess your saying I dont belong up front too then? I better quit my job.

No, that's not what I'm saying. However, if you think you should quit (there might be a reason you feel that way).....then maybe you should!

For those who have their panties in a bunch about my views on youngin's up front. It has much more to do with life experience and attitude. Does that mean ALL 21 yr olds don't belong....of course not. HOWEVER, do I think most should do some growing up prior to being up front.....ABSOLUTELY. So, take a long, hard look in the mirror and ask yourself 'what am I like to fly with?' Toolbag or Wise-beyond-years?????? (Also, this doesn't mean older pilots can't be toolbags too)

Sadly, he's gonna end up with a disease (or two) of some sort if he keeps cavorting the way he is (or says he is). Ewww. Keep in mind, some of the biggest talkers, don't walk the walk they way they make themselves out to ;). Chances are, he's not nearly the playa' he wants you to believe he is. What he's got to prove by blabbing about his alleged exploits to you, who knows......

Not all 21 year-olds display such selfish attitudes, especially to the extent the one you describe does, but many do :(

You know, I do believe he can pull the ladies. After all, I've seen his phone pictures.... He's definitely got 'the talk' to woo them.....however, do I think he's a tool? You bet! In fact, the other night on an overnight, he wore his uniform (sans epaulets, etc.) out to dinner. Why was that you ask? Well, it's because he didn't pack anything else to wear.:confused::confused::confused: WTFO? But it's ok, he had his leather jacket w/ wings on. Ugh. :(

I'm sure the good people at Emirates are going to be falling all over themselves to hire a gem like this!

When did Walter Mitty get a license?

Well, he's of Mid-Eastern descent. So, not sure if that would hold any weight....but it would need to make up for his obvious lack of class.

Reading this thread I realized a few things...

a) I was pretty immature at 21, but I wasn't that bad.
b) At 21, I did not have the maturity to handle an FO job in ANY aircraft.
c) I've seen this kind of attitude in other professions, too. It has less to do with the job and more to do with what you cited - life experience and maturity.

Man, you must be getting old, Cruise...No patience for the kids anymore?! :p Oh, and I'm glad you're flying with him and not me. :D

I don't think Cruise wants to fly with ME. :buck: :)

It's true. I've called CS and specifically stated WC is not to be paired with me. It's enough having to babysit up front....let alone the back of the house too. :p :panic:

Besides, if WC was paired on an overnight w/ me.....I'd need to have housekeeping add an extra lock on the door. I don't need any Cougar-claw marks on my back. :laff:

hehe......j/k....I'd be happy to have a cougar on the bus w/ me!
