Digging around iCal looking for some old layover information and shocked myself how my schedule used to look when I flew domestic.

Here's a domestic MD-88 schedule and a 767 sched:

I can't believe I used to work that hard, geez!

(And hey, you still had 16 days off in your domestic days - not too shabby.)

I wouldn't know about that. I'm too busy lacking rhythm, not dancing, lusting for power, and generally being the "man" to understand what you're saying.

Working on it! Last month my fixed wing time finally surpassed my rotary wing time!

Maybe on the pre LOA51 rates, but not now. Kristie would have to get another job to make up the difference.

Nah, not yet. Just wanted to make sure you had them all trained right by the time I get over there. Actually picked up an ER last night on a maint swap. Took me a few minutes to remember the differences between it and a domestic bird. I actually had to look up the whole anti-ice AUTO/OFF thing. On a plus side, DAMN!, that thing climbs out like a home sick angel, especially seeing how light we were.
 
The anti-ice thing on the ER's is a dream. Fire 'n forget.

This is non sequitur, but I've been lobbying heavily for an au pair in our house too. We don't even have kids.
 
Do you have pets, plants, or any type of living organic material lying around the house that needs taking care of? Try that approach.
 
Cats? Hell, I could use a secretary actually. I've literally got 15 private messages on JC, 138 emails and a bunch of administrative work to do which I've been procrastinating.

So a second hot webgeek that knows HTML, PHP applications that has a good knowledge of tax code and doesn't mind cleaning the occasional 'litter sausages' from the catboxes would be phenomenal.
 
So, is it true that life is better at DAL as a lowly reserve international FO than a line-holding domestic FO, on say, the 73? Knowing what you know now, (and obviously dreading the idea of actual work) what would you bid as a newbie who wanted to be based on the West Coast?
