I have always been curious about this. Do you airline pilots and flight attendents care when a passenger videos a crititcal phase (takeoff or landing)?
What are your thoughts on this?

FA: "Ma'am please secure your table and stow the laptop"
Passenger: "No thanks, I'll be fine."
And as we know people actually do listen to these messages.![]()

I do.
Strange. Just the other week, I was flying an ILS to mins with the autopilot inop, and recorded the whole thing!

Interesting. We all know that there are a ton of people who do so regardless. (Youtube is my proof.) On my last flight there was a passenger recording the landing, and the flight attendent walked though the cabin during the final check or whatever and didn't say anything. I am sure he noticed, but he didn't seem to care.
Thanks for the replies.
Good!
One less guy I gotta sweep the cabin for during a flaming emergency evacuation when the passenger count doesn't jibe and CFR hasn't arrived yet!

Skills!
Pilots don't have to follow the rules.
