Response from Management

I posted this in the Whats going on with Ari-Ben thread but want to post it under a new thread as well.

My name is Ari Cohen and I am back with Ari-Ben Aviator. I am going to start clarifying some of the questions and rumors being posted on this board.

If anyone has any concerns feel free to call me at the school 772-466-4822 or email me at ari@aribenaviator.com. I will try to respond to everyones questions as quickly as possible.

To start, one of my positions at the school is that I am the head recruiter. I can tell you that we only have 10 Indian students coming in within the next 2 months.

Second, Aviator is investing in 6 more airplanes in the next month or so....3 172's and 3 BE-76's. The first 172 is coming in this weekend.

Lastly, Aviator did have some issues in Oct and November due to a couple of factors. These were a shortage of instructors in the industry as most of you know. The second was several pilot error incidents that created some M/X problems. Over the past couple of weeks we have resolved these issues. Planes are back up and we have a bunch of instructors coming online within the next 3 weeks.

The purpose of my post and future posts on this board is not to get into arguments with former students, but to clarify and answer questions truthfully. Also I want to give potential students updates on what is going on with Ari-Ben.

Once again feel free to call me at the school or email me. I wish all of you a safe and healthy new year.

Let me be the first to welcome you onboard. It will be nice to hear a management perspective from both your organization and others being discussed on the thread.

Again, pleasure having you online! :D

Welcome Ari, Its good to see someone from the company give their side of the story.

I've always had a hard time watching the anonymous posters ripping someone or something a new one. :banghead:

Although I don't lend much credence to someone who can't stand up and put their real name behind their words, (a lack of character or moral fiber maybe?) you have to have someone out there who has the other side, or the rumors and innuendo will just grow and get out of hand.:argue:

Again, Welcome and keep up the posts

I too have difficulty watching individuals conveying information that's more derogatory rhetoric without substantial point being addressed to support their position rather than have a singular point left out there unanswered by someone "in the know."

Regardless of individuals not bringing forth their real names (some I do understand their reason or rationale), I put more emphasis on the details to support their arguments both pro and con. Many have done this; some have not. Like you, if a poster hasn't substantiated, I'm inclined not to believe what's posted. I don't need a name. Facts are facts. . . a person's position is a person's position.

What I'm happy about now is there is someone from management to substantiate or contradict points/facts/positions presented that we can weigh both sides of a discussion.

Oh, glad to have you onboard as well.:)

Kev...

I think GR is making the statement that he believes AC has posted under other names...

Regardless... It is nice to see an actual company rep on JC.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. I will try to post here as much as possible and give you all updates on the school. By the way I have never posted under any false names trying to boost the school's reputation.

Thanks for the response.

So, my question. Potential candidates arriving at Ari-Ben for a tour. Is there someone dedicated to assist visitors requesting a tour? I'm understanding the organization, operationally speaking, doesn't have time to provide a tour to prospective students. Could you elaborate?

Hey Ari, when did you get back to the aviator, and who are you replacing?

Second, I went to the Aviator and all I got was this lousy First Officer position. :)

I came back this summer, but worked outside the office. November I was offically back with day to day operations inside the office. I am glad to see that you got your time and got your career going. Who is this by the way?

In response to the tours...I now oversee all tours. We like our potienal students to give at least 1-2 weeks notice before they come down. They can fly into Orlando or Palm Beach where we will pick them from airport. From there they will go to the school where one of our instructors will show them the office, flight line, and hanger. After that I talk to each student to explain the program in detail and answer any other questions.(if I am not in the office Angela can also help the prospect) From there we have someone take you up to the housing.

Once that part of the tour is complete we want our potienal students to talk to as many current students as possible. This way one will not just hear about the program from our staff but also from the student perspective. We also encourage a back seat training flight during one's visit.

A student is more than welcome to stay overnight which Aviator will pay for and be transportation will be provided to the airport the next day.

If anyone wants to tour the school just give me a call 772-466-4822 or send me an email ari@aribenaviator.com.

I wasn't insinuating this Ari... I remember you used to be on here and your user name was "Ari"... Way back when!! :)

When I read it again I realized what you were trying to say. My Bad. :banghead: When I tried to edit the post it would not let me. I think I did make a few post under Ari way back in the day.

Is ari ben accepting new pro course students again? A previous post mentioned you guys asking students to wait a couple of months to attend. How far ahead of time do you have to reserve a spot?

I believe they're booked until march.
