Funny industry eh? We were hiring 80 a month when I jumped on board and now we're not having another new hire class until April or May.

I could jump ship to CHQ or Skywest but I have a horrible feeling with my luck they'd decide to stop hiring about that time.
 
Saying one's airline is going to continue to hire, grow, be given more outsourced flying is bad juju.

It is a crapshoot folks. You NEVER know. Do you think John knew XJET would stop hiring when he went there?

I won't bet you a paycheck, because with the way lucky works I've gotta go to CHQ for you guys to stop hiring. As long as I stay away you're in good shape.

But just for a good time I WILL bet you a corndog that you slow hiring to half your current rate by June of 2008.

How's them for some odds? You'll most likely get a free corndog outta the deal :)

That's before the sky began to fall at DL and they needed another 6 million in cost suts here at Comair on top of the 7 mil we bled in Ch.11. Delta calls the shots and we have to live with them or move on.:rolleyes:

I'm at work anyways.:rolleyes: It's been a weird fall and I'm interseted to see how winter goes. I think it's gonna be a nasty winter since last year it was in the 60's and 70's all the way up till Jan.
 
I'd rather have cold than had to have dealt with rain, massive crosswinds and windshear here in JFK!

Nothing like throwing in a slip to correct for crosswind and thinking, "Gee, what's the 'arm' of the last row in coach?" eeeeeWHIP!

Eh, with John's track record they might.

Gets hired at Skymates as an instructor....students dry up, and people hardly fly. Leaves Skymates for Ameriflight, and people are trying to GIVE students away.

Gets hired at Ameriflight as an instructor, winds up in the sim and hardly flying at all.

Seems to me John has the "don't fly me" virus. :)
 
The funny thing is:

Time he leaves skymates, that get a crazy amount of students!

We've been short training captain since he left amflight!:)
