FINALLY!!!!!! after 8 years in schools and working 3 jobs,i finally graduated. im 30 years old with
MBA in Aviation management

Commercial SE/ME/IR (350TT)
and the best of it, NO student loans.
Unfortunately im not a citizen and i dont have a green card.Just a working permit.
Any ideas what i can do guys?????? i need opinions.

Does your visa grant you the right to live and work in the U.S.? If it does, you really shouldn't have a problem finding work.

What job specifically are you looking for? A management position? Line pilot?

I don't know much about the green card process or right to work.

But........

I can recommend if you go into the management side of the house, don't promote the fleecing of the employees just to turn around and line your pockets. Otherwise, you'll just wind up as another prick manager who is responsible for the decimation of the industry. :(

Either way, I wish you the best. :) Hopefully the 'new breed' of management will respect the employee instead of dumping on us every opportunity they have.

Get your instructor rating(s) and instruct for a while, then decide where to go from there.

What exactly do you mean by a "working permit" ?

You normally need Visa's to live/work in the US, what kind of Visa do you hold? Are you Canadian?

I spent 5.5 years living/working in the US, and I'm Canadian. IF you provide details as noted above, I can tell you what I know.

Cheers.

Well, i always wanted to fly BUT it seems that all airlines are looking for american passport or green card, which i dont have. As an international student (im European) you have the chance to get one year permit to work in the states, to get experience. If you find a job, then is up to your employer to renew it again. At this point, i prefer a management job or any other job related to airplanes that is a graduated level.
And dont worry, i promise i will be a good manager because i went through a lot in my life and i understand people. :)

welcome to my world :)

find someone to marry... quick ;)

at least thats what I'm doing.

when i'm done with this crap, i'll have 1 year to work for someone.. with my low hours, I don't think i'll stand a chance besides getting hired with a scabline (they'll hire anyone with just a work permit thats valid for a year) or CFI for a while, which means I need to spend another few grand...

so for me, it will be a scabline, or another 4-5 grand and get CFI/CFII and instrust as much as I can for a year...

we have very limited options :(

Are there any companies who sponsor H1 visa?

:eek:You havin' a bad day bro???

Maybe? :p

We need more scummy airline management types like we need more useless ambulance-chasing lawyers in this country.....yet we keep cranking 'em out of the attorney mills. :(

Just an observation......and no, I haven't had a run-in w/ said lawyer type. :panic:
