Corporate vs. regional pros &cons

NJA Capt was the guy ignorantly bashing the regionals, but I've given up on him.

As far as we're concerned, I dogged the kingair.....
I guess I should give up on you too, but first.....

I didn't "dog" the regionals. Please feel free to post the sentence you found offensive and I will address it/them. I responded with pros to the KA and only stated "disagree" on your weak cons. Plenty of the other posters have shown that your statements about the KA are less than accurate.

In your last post you admitted that you bagged on the King Air. So why is it you feel insulted if someone gives it back? Turn about is fair play. If you dish it out, expect more in return. When I bag on the regionals I expect people to defend their views. You can expect the same when you bag on the corp side. Something that I have not done is resorted to name calling.

OK here is the "situation" You can choose between flying a king air single pilot for some rich dudes or you can sit in the right seat of a skywest rj. Money at kingair job is triple skwest 1st year. some benefits ie: health. No jumpseat or travel priveleges. In the short term this seems like a no brainer, my question is what are the LONG TERM pros and cons to each? I know alot of this depends on what you want out of life and what your goals are so please feel free to base your comments on your own goals or on hypotheticals. Go ahead now and discuss.

You give me the name and number of the King Air guys, and then you go to Skywest :)

(CRJ CA in ORD is half as long as Mesa right now).

So what, CRJ CA is 2-2 1/2 years?

Sorry, just struck me as funny. I still talk to a few over there and the upgrades have been given out (most junior 3.5), but there are no classes in sight.....

I'll be sure and get their number right to you. By the way thanks again for the book. i'm done with it now and I'll get it back to you next time I'm in SLC. Only thing I had to do for the tech was draw the fuel system.
