Of course they would choose Alabama. They wouldn't have to worry about paying dental coverage.

Seriously, though. Here we are sending our work over to Asia, yet Europe is sending work over here. I know NOTHING about finance or politics, but I keep hearing this term globalization. Who knows, this might be a giant step toward that.
 
Definitely how a global economy works. The U.S. is the "mexico/china" of the world currencies right now. Investment and business will flow into the U.S. until the "worldwide checkbook" balances again. This will strenghten the dollar and make the treasuries valuable once again and serve to keep inflation in check.

So true. Now if we could eliminate corporate taxes they wouldn't be able to move new companies into the US fast enough.
 
It's great how you are more likely to find a car made by Toyota or Subaru that is made in the USA than one made by MOPAR.
 
I think news like this makes it appear there is a light at the end of this very long tunnel we have entered.
 
Any idea of what plant is near Anniston AL? I fly over it every night from Birmingham-Atlanta? Looks big and lot's of cars lined up near railroad tracks.

...how can they do that? I thought all military aircraft were to be american made.

Kinda like how all the cars in the presidents motorcade are all american, no Toyota's in that convoy!

In any event, it's good for the state of Alabama, and our economy!

You are either looking at Talladega Motor Speedway, Anniston Army Depot, or Fort Maclellen.
