Colgan ABE Base

Yes, we used to have 2 Saabs based there. However, that has been reduced to 1 now. As such, I believe we're down to 3-4 lines of flying out of ABE, codesharing for United.

I spent 95% of my time as an F.O. in ABE. Unfortunately, once I upgraded I wasn't going to hold a line (very senior Capt. base) there so I bid out.

Anything particular you want to know?
 
Anyone know what the deal with PVD is? It looks like all their lines are gone now. I heard it's only being serviced by the Beech.

Yeah, PVD won't have a Saab again until Spring....at least that's what I've heard. Beech only for now.

Thats so weird, when we did PVD the flights were always pretty full. I know they still have Saab service to PVD thats done by the LGA crews

Cruise, ill post about the "other" airline, its good though. I did see John L. and Adam K. in STL for upgrade though. I pretty much saw EVERYONE there

My guess is that all the United flying will eventually go out of IAD.
 
I heard Colgan is going to start doing a Florida push just like they did in Texas. I'm sure a few guys on this thread are happy to know that they're going to continue outstation basing. In fact the first base we're opening is KFPR (Fort Pierce, the murder capital where we murder for capital). Anywaz, it's also going to be a maintenance base. Until they can get all the Colgan MX down there it's going to be done by Aviator.+++++++++

And when a captain makes a write up I'm sure Cohen will be right out there saying "Whadda-Hell? Who da hell wrote up my goddahm airplanne?"

Just curious what the chances are of getting ABE as a domicile. Thinking about making a switch. Thanks.
 
Well I wish they would close them now, I'm not getting any time in ROC. 47 hour block this month, even less if I can't get out in December. I'd pick up open time but I'm only home 2.5 days a week as it is. My marriage is still more important than my upgrade. It seems like they're going to have to close ROC, unless they give us our LGA flying back.

It seems to me that it would be better served by another base though. Right now we just do 2 round trips to Hartford a day. One in the morning and then the plane sits on the ground for about 7 hours and we do another one in the evening.

Hey Smittey, are there any open slots in SYR? I noticed you guys just got a hell of a lot of lines.
 
Dude, bid LGA. You would be the number 1 FO down there. Also you would make a lot more money down there, you wouldn't need a crashpad, per diem, and you can drive to and from work!
 
Yeah, I've been trying to get into LGA for 3 months now. Apparently it's full, I e-mailed Dot and she said she'd check on it for me. Calling Mikey today.
