Something that is truly free...

I hardly think that you need to be apologizing Seggy. It's not your fault that some people can't be satisfied with FREE, they also need it NOW.

:(

No I am satisfied but I need some summer reading for during the 4 hour lunch break at work!

I just got a card in the mail to request the 2 editions of the book about a week ago.....

I believe it came from my MEC if I remember correctly.

<p>
i want it NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <img src="images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" smilieid="1" class="inlineimg" /> in all serious though mark thank you.

<p>&nbsp;</p>

Doooode, hook a brotha up when you're done reading it.

Ok folks. I have to apologize, the lady that was taking care of this got involved with the Skywest union drive and then, now, the UsAirways/AWA issue. To make a long story short, she was not able to get them out from the list of more than 150 requests.

I apologize once again. :(

However, you might want to try this. Go to this link...

http://www.alpa.org/Default.aspx?tabid=495

Fill it out and put ALB Beech Captain. In the comments explain you were referred to this request by Mark Segaloff from the Colgan Organizing Drive. You want more information from ALPA, as you are pursing a career as a commercial airline pilot, and want to educate what ALPA has to offer and the history of ALPA.

Sorry folks, wish I had more for ya.

No need for apologies. Thanks for providing the link and the information.

Thanks for your help!

For anyone that's working at an ALPA carrier, keep in mind that your MEC is required by ALPA Bylaws to provide you a copy upon request, free of charge. Just call your MEC office or talk to your status rep.

What about us who don't work at an ALPA carrier?

Seggy, thanks for the very generous offer that kicked this whole thread off!

I think PCL_128 is simply saying that those already at ALPA carriers should know that their individual MECs offer these items free of charge. I see it as just a friendly reminder.
