Background check easing?

I was looking at the PACE website and noticed that the requirements changed drastically. Before was the TSA list of disqualifying convictions, now it only says you have to have an acceptable driving record. Is the "easing" happening industry wide in regards to convictions or was what I saw before in a different spot and I missed it.

PACE? What be that?

However, the disqualifying criteria hasn't changed industry wide at all. Being that it's driven by the wonderful TSA, it'll probably even tighten up.

PACE is that school in Farmington for Mesa. I do remember seeing that list elsewhere and being titled TSA Disqualifying Factors or something of that nature. Maybe, they need more students so badly they will take somebody that won't get past a FAA check, because money is the bottomline.

Ahh!

I think I'd look at the most restrictive qualifications of the airlines you'd love to work for an then work backwards from there.

PACE is Mesa's, "You give us $15,000, we give you a job!" program.

They'll take a check from anybody.

Doesn't mean that you'll qualify for the job.
