One word of advice: Use the system's loophole to earn yourself residency by registering your car, obtaining a ND driver's license/fishing/hunting license and/or renting an apartment with utilities in your name, so that in one year you'll be able become a ND resident and get in-state tuition.
So many people lack the sense to find out how they can save several tens of $1000's of dollars in tuition and student loan interest expense... all while contributing to further degrading the ND economy as to drive the depopulation crisis the state is suffering from even further.Okay, slippery slope here...sorry

thats not really a loophole, thats how its designed to work
you live here, you work here, you pay tax here, you deserve the benefits of residing in this state. (in the form of cheaper tuition)
Oh, one more thing. You will need to take the Private pilot groundschool and a flight test course known as "112". I am taking that right now, and have one more flight for that. It's cost roughly 4500 dollars. FYI.
Crick vs. Creek
vs. Coulee.
My student did 112 for about $3,000.
My friend did it for $2,900.
$4,500 seems a little high...
