Yep, ain'ts no way management would announce base closures before the vote ends. All those super senior guys would turn on them in a heartbeat. I hope they are wise enough to see through this and not drunk on da koolaid.
 
They're not reducing route, they're just replacing them with RJ's. And the routes that can't support the RJ, are staying bro routes.

Which leads one to beleive as my other fellow skywesters are implying, if there are no planes, there has to be some base closures. Funny thing, the dir of flt ops just put out an email saying we wont be closing any bases.

I remember a while back they announced the closing of IAH on a monday, and the previous fri some poor sap had just closed on his house in IAH.

Well I can tell you the talk in the crew lounge at SBP is not good. From what I hear a lot of the captains think the SBP domicile will be shut down and SLC, SFO, and LAX crews will run the show.

By the way, is it just me or does anyone else think the letter from Chip was a little, odd?
