Hmmm...probably be the wrong generation to get the reference...

That's insane. I haven't done 8 in 8 months. A few months ago I did one that was 9 block hours and it paid 14; that was fun.

That much deadheading in such a short amount of time seems like a waste of company resources.

Well, I certainly can't beat that, but I did do two in one day last week. :)

Of course, I got paid 100% for them plus duty rig, and I sat in first class and listened to XM radio the whole time, so I'm not complaining. :nana2:

I did 6 in a 48 hour period two winters ago. Day one was DAY-PHL-ALB-PHL-DAY after the aircraft I was supposed to pick up in ALB was broken. The next day I deadheaded DAY-PHL for a PWN turn that canceled so I just deadheaded back to DAY. Fun stuff.

I did 7 in one night while at Airnet (broken up with one 30 minute leg). Talk about fun. All to pick up one airplane in ALB for a 30 minute flight, then deadhead to my next airplane. I'll check when I get home and give the routing...

That's the first thing that popped into my mind. I thought, "wow, they're everywhere on the internet." :D

One must give them credit though where credit is due. They were instrumental in starting online communities (aka The Well) of which I participated in the early days of the net.

Our DHs in Nov shot through the roof thanks to going to winter ops scheduling. It reduces our max duty day from 15.5 to 13 (too many guys were timing out due to delays under normal scheduling), so a lot of crews are out of position. I've got a 95 hour line next month with about 1-2 DHs per trip.

Now that I've got that 95 hour line, I'm either gonna be sitting at home and getting paid a lot in Nov, or I'll have 2-3 weeks in Dec off. :)

Rocketman, you fly into MDT? I am based at MDT for another tp company.
[end of hijack]

I did 3 dh in 24 hours. :p plus 2 legs commute home. Fun ;)
