Absolutely. I'm heavily lobbying a large southern US based airline and there's sparkles of interest, but not to the level that I'd like to talk about yet! ;)

I'm trying to make sure there's something there for the grownups!
Speaking of sparkles...
Maybe I can get dixie, sparkles, and Bubbles to come down from the Bungalow, thats always a hit fot the grownups.

So now it's going to be even more painful when I'm sitting at home on reserve. Ugghh.

I'm rolling solo......I call dibs on Sparkles or maybe even Sparkles AND Bubbles depending on how giddy I'm feeling.

Do I mail you the check KA??? ;) :p

:sarcasm:

If any of those airlines are willing to subsidize my training 50%, I'll sign a contract with them for 5 years.

100% of training, I'll give them...8 years.

How can they lose? :bandit:

I had about 80 hours when I attended my first NJC in 2004. I had a job less than a year later.

Doesn't matter whether you are 'marketable' or not. You come for the networking opportunities and for down the road.

I wont make it either. The wedding is on the 20th and I dont think my fiancee would be willing to reschedule.

ya know.... you could just knockout two birds with one stone;) doubt she would be happy with that idea though. wedding at the elvis house in the am, JC at night. you both win right?:sarcasm:

Bingo. I wasn't even a commercial pilot yet. I picked up the info on Skymates at NJC 04. Without that, I probably woulda never even looked twice at the place. Then there's the networking opportunities down the road. Ya know the "JC Inner Circle" everyone always claims exists? It's mostly people that have met and hung out at NJC. If one of the people I met at NJC asked for a favor having to do with aviation, I'd bend over backwards for them. The same goes for me if I need a favor, too. Doesn't matter if you're marketable now, you will be at some point. It's nice to have the contacts in place when you hit that point instead of a few months afterwards.

this will suck if i cant make it. i am supposed to have an instrument checkride right around that time. thank you for setting this up. are there any specific days these people will be there? i might be able to sneak away for a day.
SUNDAY!!!
