In addition to Skywest, there's a strong possibility of a regional that's looking for 700 pilots this year (and another 600-700 in 2008) that will be in attendance at NetworkJC. If you've got regional minimums and you aren't attending the event, you're blowing an opportunity to shake hands with recruiters in a low-threat, fun environment!

Don't miss this!

Also, there's a strong possibility of yet another regional (from the same state) that may have an official representative on-hand to take resumes and answer questions.

Details as they develop!

this will suck if i cant make it. i am supposed to have an instrument checkride right around that time. thank you for setting this up. are there any specific days these people will be there? i might be able to sneak away for a day.

Hey Dough.....curious minds wanna know, any chance of having the bigger dogs in the fight???

Regardless, thanks for all your (and Kristie's) efforts. Sounds like this NJC is going to be really special!!! I can't wait....only a few weeks away. Woo Hoo!

I really don't want to say until they give me the "Yup, we'll certainly be there fo sho", ya know?

(ooh, I rhymed!)

Absolutely. I'm heavily lobbying a large southern US based airline and there's sparkles of interest, but not to the level that I'd like to talk about yet! ;)

I'm trying to make sure there's something there for the grownups!

Oh sure.....sweeten the pot. ;)

Are these events every year? I know I cant make it this year (which really sux) but I'd love to make it in '08 if there will be one.

and congrats on gettin some recruiters- job well done!

Two from the same state... Hmmmmm... let's try to narrow it down.

The first that come to mind is: XJT & Eagle both from Texas.

What other two regionals are from the same state?

Bob

Compass and Mesaba are the same CITY.

There's also Skyway and Air Wisconsin, but I don't think they're hiring in those type of numbers.

The Same here, JC '08:rawk:

Yeah I won't be able to make this year either. Being a Senior in college a lot of us close buds are getting money together to take a cruise for Spring Break. Maybe next year ;)

I wont make it either. The wedding is on the 20th and I dont think my fiancee would be willing to reschedule.

I can see how that would present a problem for you.

Uh honey, wadda ya say we move the wedding back a week or two. I need to go to VEGAS!

Here comes the frying pan to the head!

I can't find the post now and am too lazy to look up the exact wording, but I remember a Dough post about a regional "expressing" interest. Hhmmmm?

It be a case of Tomato, Tomatoe, but even though Compass is connected with the Red Mothership, I believe they are headquarted in Virginia, and not Minneapolis, MN.

There's actually yet another prospect as well.

A large, umm, heartland-based airline is scheduled for an ad purchase on JC starting next month so I'm hoping they take the bait and come along to NetworkJC.

Hint: Signs the checks that Mr. "I'm pimping the deuce down at the Bungalow" has direct deposited.

But they haven't responded at this point. But considering it's face-to-face and gratis and they're buying ads on the site, I *think* it might be a no-brainer for 'em.
