Honoring April: It's been almost seven months now since we lost our beautiful April. Today is her 25th birthday, and I have launched a website in her memory. The purpose of the website is to raise awareness about the need for everyone to have a combination combustible gas/carbon monoxide detector in their home. Thank you! I appreciate hearing about anything like that, I want that stuff fixed. It takes a lot of eyes to find these things because there is a lot of text and I've looked at it so much it just all blends together lol, so thanks!

When they first came out, my father bought detectors for each of his kid's homes. One time, about 10 years ago, it went off, and sure enough, my husband went downstairs and something was wrong with the furnace.
