Hello. Im new here.

...As a matter of fact, your reaction tells me that's probably exactly what you are...a jetBlue protoscab who doesn't like having their rock turned over and getting exposed to sunlight.

There's the pot calling the kettle black. Why don't you tell us who you work for.

I'll stop asking when you answer the question and expose yourself just a little. And I don't mean disrobing.

So Doug, any chance of starting a new section, oh I don't know, maybe the "basement" or "the back alley" where all this "bantering" back and forth can go? I think it is a sad thing that this guy introduces himself, obviously excited about his new found love of everything aviation, only to have the thread hijacked. I mean come on...it went from his introduction to a full blown union v. non-union argument in about 10 seconds flat. And man, I wish I could find more of these arguments out there, 'cause there aren't nearly enough. :sarcasm:

Maybe its because the erosion of the pilot profession caused by protoscab outfits like jetBlue, Skybus and Virgin is such an important topic. We're fighting for YOUR future against the scum that populate these airlines.

You would think that newbies would be interested in that.

I think captain Roach posted after he created his roach:bandit: I smell a mole. Me thinks you've all been duped.:laff: It has been some good entertainment however.

You know...maybe I've been duped; but I seriously doubt it. Case in point, if my memory serves me correctly, Velo stated somewhere that he's at Alaska driving 73's. But I have no desire to search to prove that.......if you need to, help yourself. Perhaps one of the JC librarians (hehe) can post or guide us to the spot.

So I disagree, Velo provides content....you might not like what he's got to say but it doesn't mean it's not a valid point of view. Unlike other recent entertainers (generic user name...no specifics ;)) on the site who was quite obviously only blowing smoke with every keystroke.

Not Velo, the kid. I'm sure Velo is for real, but the young kid........ get it now? He started a prairie fire and you can't find the arsonist.

It's a sad state of affairs when someone just getting into the industry can't ask a question without ridicule. Not everyone has been in the industry as long as some of you. There is alot of information. Alot of it good and some of it bad. Have you ever thought that it may be very overwelming for someone trying to break into this industry. We were all there one day. I think this industry is chaulk full of bitter negative nancys and you'll probably just create another one by filling there first experience with aviation with negative posts and even accusations of malicious posting.:(
