Hello:

Figured I would give you all an update. Phase 1 Aircraft Systems training at Flight Safety passed. Phase 2 CPT and Sims begin Monday 8/27 and check ride set for 9/7. Upon passing training will be based at KCHO for Ameriflight. Part of the CVG base. Need to get back to my studies on (Flows, Limitations and Memory items).

Gary C. and Mike are both still at FSI Long Beach, CA center. My class which is only two of us (FO/Capt) taught by Mike and Gary is the (DPE) for the EMB 120 Program. Today was 10 hrs of CPT. in the Level C sim without motion. Yea the schedule in VA is going to be an interesting one though I know of worse ones!

Don't get too much hand sweat on those yokes and power levers in the SIM. I have to do recurrent next month. :) Good luck with the EMB training. You will like the plane.

10 hours in a CPT in one day? yikes!!!

So is Gary a full blown type rating examiner now? When I went through in January it was only Patrick, and Gary was only qualified to give 135 checkrides. The type ride had to be with Pat.

Tell Mike and Gary the Midland crew says hey.

Where is the Captain going? I know CHO had a vacancy, but was recently re-taken by the old captain who came back.

I believe I saw those planes in MAF last Friday.

I didn't think Ameriflight was out there so I was suprised to see them there.

I am having difficulties in the SIM. Was told today they were going to call AMF and give them a progress report and a alert. Checkride is next week on Thursday and now Gary C. is Fully qualified to give them both PIC and SIC Types. The capt with me in training will NOW become a TDY capt on the EMB 120 at any location cause the old capt!!! Took back is old slot. Best wishes and thoughts for I getting through are welcomed!

With your post history I can't say I'm shocked.

Good luck though.

I know people have told you hundreds of times, but why do you always advertise it when you are messing something up? Or mess something up by advertising it. You are really putting yourself in the line of fire for alot of self induced criticism. More often that not the best thing to say is nothing at all, and looking at your previous posts it seems that you dont understand this.

My advice to you is that instead of posting online that you screwing up in training, you shut down the computer and study like your career depends on it. After at least 10 airline rejections and who knows who many other rejections, along with like 8 checkride busts(pink slip = bust) I really think you are exhausting your options fast and you need to really take this opportunity at AMF and grab it by the balls. That means no excuses and maybe taking some time off flightinfo and jetcareers to focus on whats really important.

A few years back I flew the Metro at AMF, and my partner and another guy got the same talk you did, "were gonna talk to the office and give them status update and alert". I had a talk with my sim partner and told him that he better bring his best game tomorrow or hes out. He did poorly the next day and was sent packing. The other guy was there sitting in a dark powerless sim lighting it up with a flashlight at 3am the next day going over his flows..over and over and over until he couldnt see straight. HE made it through. If you havent gotten my point, its get in the sim even if its in the middle of the night and do that ##### til your blue in the face, thats the only thing thats gonna save you other than an act of god at this point. If they dont let you in the sim, use the CPT, or even tape the cockpit posters on your wall at the hotel, jetcareers isnt gonna help you now. Its just gonna make you look like an a$$ if you blow it again. GOOD LUCK....SERIOUSLY.

The funny thing about that to me is the first thing I think is, "Wow, 10T day, that's a freakin' paycheck!"

i would agree with you if it was in an actual airplane. since its in a sim, its juts a chore. Heck i flew 10.8 yesterday/last night. on my 3rd day of captain ioe. cant wait for the 1st and 15th! no more ramen noodles!!!
