Airnet

If all you want is a 152 take the van. I;m loaded so take it for what it's worth. Also, look into back doctors if your gonna fly the van.

Nah, they are just being A-holes. hehe. And I've felt how wonderfully upright those seats are too. I'll bring a socket wrench and undo that back panel so I can recline haha. I've heard a rumor about you having another job lined up????? but then again you know how rumors go

It might be a rumor, but he has posted it himself...I believe a class date on the 27th, or somewhere in there...:bandit:

I haven't seen anyone with less than 700 hours attend training, for what it's worth.

What happens if you have bare bones multi time? Do they train you in the Baron first, or are you expected to be pretty on top of things regarding multi proficency?

No rumor, it's true. I heard somewhere that it takes like three hours to move that panel. They should make it a slidelock system. That would be awesome.

Both. Typically you'd get 4 sim rides and 4 baron flights prior to a checkride, but if you're not on top of things you can find yourself in trouble quickly.

Pssshh. Not lately. You could probably get up to your 1200 hrs in training for how badley they need pilots. I know that's a little exageration, but I've heard of some guys failing initial checkrides mutliple times and being able to retake the class and have a do-over.

Do not be as worried about the multi proficiency. Instrument proficiency is a lot more important and what gets most people in trouble. Make sure you are very proficient. They will expect you to be able to fly very well on instruments so they only have to teach you the company profiles. You can not be over prepared.

Yeah, you're right. Don't prepare at all, that'll insure your sucess.

I know that wasn't directed at me, but let me just say it's certainly not the attitude I want to project. I always make an attempt to be overprepared, and this would certainly be no different. It is much easier for me to be instrument proficient than get multi time, so the above posts are good news. Thanks for the replys guys.

Sometimes I feel that being over-prepared is over-rated. This is definitely not the case during an Airnet training event.

Wow, harsh. It was a statement saying that Airnet is pretty desperate. Not saying come in there with your thumb up your a**.

When the guy's asking about how sharp he should be before coming to airnet and you reply with, "You could get your 1200 hours in training" it sure makes it sound a lot easier than it is.

Well I'm sorry you took it that way. That's not what I meant. They are just letting a lot of people have second, third, fourth, ect retries.
