I think we should play it safe and ground ALL 737s until the cause is known.
At first I thought you were simply stupid, but after reading a few of your posts, I'm convinced you are nothing but a troll.
I think if the cause of the fire is combustible material, we should ground all airplanes which contain it, especially if they have fuel.
It's the only way to be sure.

On a side note, your thread's title is "deceiving". I don't know others, but I thought it was an affirmation, and that the FAA was "actually" grounding all 737's.
"Should the FAA ground all 737's?" would be better.
I'm not trying to be an smartarse. It's just a friendly comment![]()

Think of all the time off I'd have WITH PAY!!!!!!!!!!
Keep in mind China does not have the greatest safety record as far as aviation goes. Wow the more I think about it China has been Effing up a lot lately. If they risk losing business by cutting corners to save a penny on animal food and toys why not airplanes.

Just to clarify, China Airlines is from Taiwan, not the People's Republic of China.
Yes it's confusing.
So I take it I am not the only one here getting tired of the dribble coming from Brand X? OK, good....Ignore list, add, "Brand X"...done and done.
We shared a cabin on a train once somewhere in Europe with a nice couple from Hong Kong. They made sure to let us know that they were from Hong Kong and NOT China.
It is confusing to a lot of us, but many Taiwan and Hong Kong inhabitants distance themselves from big China. Even though China 'administers' the territories.
Exactly. Nevertheless though, I've already said what I think should be done with his user account.
Til then, the ignore list is it.
China Airlines B-18616 was delivered on July 26,2002. Alaska didnt get their first -800 till 2005. Somehow I dont think they were built around the same time. I have been wrong before though. Unless you are talking all NG aircraft in general, then you may be right.I know that the Alaska 737s were built around the same time as the China 737. So, the Alaska 737s should be the first ones grounded.
