I don't know if there is any better way to get paid!!!

As soon as we arrive in PA, grab the crew car and head out for an enormous breakfast! Next as we are driving down the road we spot a Sam Ash, and I went in and played an awesome Custom 22 PRS for over an hour. Next I found a Home Depot and was able to pick up some furniture slides for my new apartment and the hard wood floors. Next we found a movie theatre, and saw the bourne ultimatum. Next we found an awesome arcade, and spent a good hour and a half in there. Finally, titters err....Hooters for lunch/dinner. Then back to the airport, to find out to our suprise to find out our PX brought us back two really nice polo golf shirts with their companies logo on it for us!

What a day and what a great way to get paid!...If 91 flying is anything like this, who needs the airlines!

rant out.

I really enjoyed all of the 91 corporate flying I did, and I did plenty of days like you just had, however most of the time was spent sitting at the airport because the passengers said they would be there at a certain time and yet they don't show up for 1.5hr after. I still loved every minute of it. My apologies, I missed where you announced what you are doing. Would you mind sharing again? What you fly? Where out of? How much flying? CHEERS

I just read up on what you are flying. A king air...same thing I was. And if you are right seat then that means it is either a part 91 300/350 or a 135 90/100/200. I have about 240hrs in the King Air and it was a blast. That maybe the best plane ever made....it is built like a brick $$$$ house and will do anything you want it too. Do share some thoughts. CHEERS

For you king air guys...I've been told that hypothetically, the KA can go above max gross, and the military version is up to either 14.5 or 15.5, however, beech has it at 12.5 for the convience of single pilot and non type?

Anyways, I love the airplane. Granted it's the only multi i've flown aside from a Seneca. It's awesome though. Still have A LOT of learning to do, and I cant wait to go to school for it in December!

I only have about 30 hours in the airplane (7 as a com multi pilot), and i'm still learning, but I find myself making a lot of stupid little mistakes...Particulary with the auto pilot, but I guess that comes in due time.

I find the airplane is extremely trim sensitive too. I'm really only using electric trim on the flare...Otherwise I find myself over trimming and resorting back to the wheel.

Today as we were taking off I had a little scare. The left inboard tire was fairly low, and when I heard that thumping, it raised my hairs a little. I thought when we got to the Jet Center we could have it filled with air....Who would have though...Nitrogen! HAHA.

Anyways, we are flying 91. Aircraft is owned three ways; two of the owners being private pilots themself, and the third, a software company out of mass, so i'm only getting trips on a part time basis with the third company. I don't know how long this will last for because the Captain is looking to get out of piloting completely for a number or various reasons. It could last another month, or it could last 14 months...Who knows, but im soaking up everything I can.

One last thing....For some reason I find myself sort of being a p8ssy and second guessing myself when bringing the power back to the bars and then lifting into beta. For some reason my brain dies and it seems like I'm always trying to pull back through the stop bar until the captain yells "dlck...PULL UP"!.

HAHA...Anyways....I will post some pics sometime this week if your interested, however, I dropped my digital camera at a bar about 2 weeks ago and dont have any money to fix it, and i'm not quit sure I want to borrow, and pull out my girlfriends hot pink camera on the ramp! LMFAO

It will become second nature before you know it. The wheel is ok in flight but I got to where I could use the elec trim pretty well. The autopilot is fairly simple....I used to climb it up to 1000 below final assigned then hit Alt Hld,VS,Nav and AP and there you go. On decent you have to hit the decent button and then about 300ft/min before it gets to your vertical speed you want hit VS. Like I said, it will become super easy to you before long. I also missed which KA it is? The civilian 300 gross is 14,000 and 350 is 15,000. The 200 is 12,500 and not sure about the 90. I can send you some pictures of ours when we were on a trip if you want. CHEERS

military 200 hundreds can go up to 14.500 and I believe some are equipped with tip tanks. They also have unpressurized 90's and some with the -28 engines that are suppost to be really great.

When i first flew a turboprop i was always timid about bringing it into beta just becaues of the noise it made....now I do it to let people know im comin!

Glad to hear your havin fun.

The PT-6 in beta doesn't make a 10th of the noise the garretts make on something like an MU-2....now that is loud

Any autopilot button would be decent for me! Even a descent button! Sorry, couldn't help myself, lol
