No, we blame ourselves.

Why did they set up the TSA?

Because we the people wanted the government to "do something now!"

So they did.

We've got only ourselves to blame.

No kidding, man. I now I feel safe coming through security in MEM when there's a member of the Three 6 Mafia running the screening machine. Sadly the security screening girls from Soul Plane wouldn't be out of place here.....

BTW, we actually DO have screeners with gold teef in de grillz.
 
Does anybody know what the starting pay is for TSA??? I'm sure its better than an FO at a regional, plus I get to wear the new blue shirt. I think I have SBSS( Shiny Blue Shirt Syndrome).

Your IQ is too high.

My wife applied to the TSA back when we were in MCO and she was unemployed. They sent her packing after the "screening test." They basically flash a lot of slides up on a projector and you have X amount of time to identify it. Oddly enough, this is probably harder than it is in the real world since I've seen the TSA person stare at the screen like a dog watching TV for about 2 minutes before.

Anyway, there were two other guys in there mumbling "Dayum, dis be hard!" They wound up sending her home (even though she did well on the test) and kept the two burnouts. We saw them working a checkpoint a month later, too.

On another note, a guy I worked with at Universal (and oddly my wife worked with at Disney) who was voted "most likely to climb a bell tower with a rifle" at BOTH places was hired by TSA in MCO as well.....

Hey, I am looking for something to pay the bills :>.

They probably pay minimum plus .50 :D


Err, anyway. If you go by their 'pro-rated' pay based on full time, probably $12-16/hr
