New hires starting at second year pay; ASA ?

Heard from multiple sources that ASA newhires are starting at second year pay.


Can anyone confirm this? If so that is awesome!

But yeah, that'd be nice, so long as each year following the pay was increased as well.

Better yet, finish contract negotiations first.
 
That would indeed be cool.

Imagine all the guys on 1st year pay right now at ASA that would be STEAMING if this were true. Does not seem possible to me.
 
I will let you know if I hear from them. Just sent my resume. Maybe I will be a new hire at second year pay!!! :nana2:
 
Would be nice to hear (read rather in a TA)... but I'm going to have to call BS :crazy:

Same rumor went/has been going around SKYW for a while too... I would have loved for it to be true but I think its just a marketing campaign to get more pilots to apply.

Seems like you just need to be above this :drool: to get into class now.
 
Doubtful, I spent a all day yesterday from someone 'in the know' at ASA and it didn't come up.
 
Oh, that guy who knows a guy that plays golf with the other? :)

Might as well spill it. Only about 10% of rumors ever come to fruition anyway.
