Well I can finally say I am an offically type rated SIC in the Shorts...My checkride was tonight from 10 until midnight and we covered everything...They gave me a checkride to captain standards and of course I made some mistakes but overall I felt very good about the ride and am glad to be done....Finally, I can get paid to fly something...Thanks for all the information and advice from the many great people on this site!! Its been a great ride and to all those out there still fighting to get the ratings finished, enjoy it and take your time...The regionals and cargo companies will always need pilots no matter what the big academies say..:nana2::nana2::nana2::nana2::nana2:

Congrats!! The shorts is a fun plane to fly!! You in the 360 or 330? I've got the 360.

The sim seems to fly pretty good...The only prob is its just so dang slow!

Thanks! I will temporarily until they assign me a base which prob wont be till sept bc thats when we will have some more vacancies..By the way ill be in CBM this weekend for a wedding so ill holler at you on saturday or sunday sometime

Thanks, but I'm in SAN for the next month swapping over to the T-6. I'll be back around early September. If you're still up in Mem when I get back, I'll drive up over a weekend and we'll hit Beale St. or something.

and the curious sam that I am, what did u mess up on? you said u messed up on couple things
 
ACC.....Just little stuff....turning 45 degrees to enter a hold instead of 30 (i didnt hear him say the wind was now calm), some of my briefings were a little choppy but other than that nothing at all....It was a good checkride and I felt and still feel really good about how it went...

Congrats man! I met Mickey the other day when he was pulling a Pilatus out of the hanger. I told him what you were up to, and he said to pass along his congrats to you the next time I talked to you. So, there you have it. The look on his face was priceless. He was proud of you.... He said...Collin from STF? I said, yes. He said...damn, that boy turned out to be something afterall.
