Room Sharing

Clumpinglitter, you or any other women are welcome to room with myself and us other guys who normally room together. We are non-perverts. Well, I can't speak for TonyW. ;) Just kidding; much love Tony. :D

Cool. I have a room reserved, but no roomies yet. I only have a double room booked. If there's a spot open elsewhere for sharing, I'd be happy to cancel my rez and take it.

(... waiting for Tony to comment ...) ;)

I'd be game for sharing a room with someone (or multiple people). It worked out great with us when we had the Embassy Suites. Maybe I should call jdflight and Tony, they seem to be my typical bed partners. :D

Only thing is, I'm a very clean person and very orderly, so when I room with people it ticks me off when they trash the place. I make it a point not to trash hotel rooms at work, so I do the same when I'm on vacation too. It works out great when you can get four in a room. A pull-out couch is a must. Hence why the Embassy Suites worked out well last year. I think a cab ride to the strip was around $8-10? Candlewood Suites might be another option. 15 minute walk or $8 cab ride to the strip.

CL, just understand that you will have to fight TonyW for the bathroom when getting ready... :D

Seriously though, they are a great group of guys. You would have no problems with them. Plus, TonyW makes a great G & T.

C, where did you book? I'm looking at the Monte Carlo since it is centrally located. I'd prefer not being so far from the strip like we were last year. Roommates are a definite must. You are welcome to come in on a room with myself and whoever else. I'll probably call Tony this afternoon and see what his plans are.

At the Monte Carlo, just a double room. The suite prices didn't seem all that bad. I wanted to stay there, since that's where everyone else will be.

How many do you think could fit in a suite? I'll look in the morning at prices for those days. Right now I think we could get five in there, as long as there are enough beds.

ill be game to go in on a room as well......If anyone needs or wants an extra person to cut the price ill share with someone. I know I havent met most of you guys but I can hang out and drink beer with the best of em :rawk:

I dunno about beds... I hear you sleep on the floor pretty well too.:)

It looks likes the Monte Carlo is $300 for Saturday night (ouch) but $120 for Sunday and Monday nights.

I know people were talking about coming in earlier then Sunday. Is that still in the cards (hehe) pending work schedules and what not?

Even if we all come in Saturday night, and leave Tuesday morning/afternoon, that averages to $110 per person for the entire stay. Not bad if you ask me.

Works for me!

Let's do it.

And yes, you will have to fight me for the bathroom...you'll have to fight me to be the last one in the shower in the morning because I want those extra few minutes of sleeping time.:)

That's fine with me Tony. I'd rather get in the shower early. That way I can at least imagine it is some what clean. And besides... you're going to be in Vegas... What's this SLEEP stuff?

We'll just have to see how many we can have per room, otherwise we'll have to have two rooms. If they put it at max four per room, we already have 1.5 rooms filled. Just need two more people to make it an even eight, then we have two full rooms at four a piece.

If we get suites, I imagine we can have two beds, a roll-out bed, and a sofa bed. Or Tony will become my teddy bear! :D

I still have my room, too, if we can't find an additional two people in this scenario. I won't cancel it until the last minute, then.

Wow, cool.

Did you know last time I was in BuildABear you could get a bear of err... "asian" persuasion? I thought a bear was a bear... But no, people have got to go making a race issue about it. The really terrible thing was that the demo bear was dressed up in Karate stuff.
