Plenty of overseas airlines do. Here, the only ones I know of are Mountain Air Cargo and Empire, both cargo carriers.

ASA and Eagle both fly ATR-72's in the US as well.

Its funny you mention Europe. My wife is from Romania . I flew the ATR 42 as a passenger , Tarom airline , from Bucharest to Bacu Romania last year , thats why I'm very interested in the airplane! Theres a few at every airport in Europe.
