Finally, a college grad

Well gang, I finally graduated. I just finished my Pro Aero degree from ERAU distance learning. It feels good. It only took me 19 years from the first college course to the last.

I have mixed feelings on the ERAU thing but I do think it is the best education out there for online aviation types. However, if I had it to do all over again I think I would have gone back to school, finished, and then pursued what ever it was going to be. That being said I think I'm going to take the LSAT's this fall. I dunno, am I crazy? Stan, whatdya think?

Congratulations! I just earned my Associates in Applied Sciences in Aviation. I'm about 2/3 to my BS. I know how hard it is when you're working and going to school. Online can be difficult sometimes as well.

Good on ya mate!!:rawk:

Congrats!!! I can't even imagine trying to work and do school at the same time! It would definitely take me a lot longer to do it that way and I admire you for being able to do it! I'm hoping to be making a graduation post like this next May after only 3 years in school!

Congrats...I am doing the ERAU online thing also. I will have my 4 yr done by next April. I am finishing up my Commercial and getting 18 hr of credit so it cut my time down.

19 yrs  lol hey it's better late than never right? I'm 5 classes left at ERAU for pro aero...can't wait to nail that sucker.

Are you going for masters?

Congrats! I just graduated last month from ERAU. FINALLY got the monkey off my back. Its a great feeling right? Plus I was getting tired of people asking if I graduated yet all the time. Now I only have to deal with people asking when I am gonna start flying "big jets.":banghead:.

Ain't that the truth. I'm always telling my friends that there is more to aviation than flying "those big jets".

No, no masters yet. If I was to go back it would be full time into a degree that has a certain outcome, not aviation.

I know what you mean, I kind of feel the same way, my problem is that I am not really too interested in other things so I'd probably be bored to death. :insane:

Ha! I also graduated from Riddle - Extended Campus in Ventura. Pretty sure I'll have to start the Masters program sometime soon. I've always been interested in Airport Management and a graduate degree would be beneficial I guess....

I too did the Riddle online deal. Man did it feel good! I started the Master's with them, then decided to go and get it in something else, which is human resource development. After just 3 classes, I am ready to pull all my freaking hair out...but I figure that if I can check one...more...box...
