True . . . they don't chew gum in Singapore either.I bet they wouldn't run as much then.....
I do not see anything wrong with the video, I personally agree with what happend to them, if it happend more often we would be better off.
This isn't the same . . . one we are at war with terrorists, the other we are shooting at criminals without due process.AWESOME.
Also this out:
SHEEP WARNING** If you're offended by the earlier post, you'll most likely be offended by this too**SHEEP WARNING
OK then we might as well arm the police helicopters with missiles, and blow up any car running from the law. Same argument.
Sorry,
But I don't find the downing of an unarmed aircraft that poses no immediate threat awesome, I find it sickening!![]()
I'm with you Darren.
FiveO, as a member of law enforcement, you should represent you fellow officers in a more professional way.
I honestly don't know one cop who would be upset about this plane going down so there is no need for me to represent them differently.
I am speaking for myself.
That's Jesus in Mark 7:14-15. That's what I believe (not that I'm implying anyone else has to also believe)."And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand: There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man."

So you're saying that you, and all other cops you know, don't have a problem with the lack of due process, and application of the laws that you sworn to protect, and comply with.

Listen I can respect the fact that you have an opposing opinion but please dont make stuff up just to win a debate. Episodes of Judge Judy shouldnt find their way in this conversation.
Please dont be offended, like I said healthy conversation is good - but this is about "An unauthorized plane attempting to cross our border". Nothing else. It doesnt matter whats inside. You cant make alternating laws based on whats inside - because NO ONE knows.

Again, as I said with Darrenf, you're arguing a false premise. Show me where there's a lack of due process in the example where the airplane was shot down? Why do you continue to ASSume the proper rules of engagement for shooting down this aircraft weren't enforced?
Sounded like to me on the video there was English speaking technical support with "host nation" active intervention? Did I miss something there?
Speaking of making stuff up, where did you get this from??
Perhaps you misunderstand "Due Process"...
Procedural due process is essentially based on the concept of "fundamental fairness". As construed by the courts, it includes an individual's right to be adequately notified of charges or proceedings, and the opportunity to be heard at these proceedings. --- From Wikipedia
Where in that video did either of those two stipulations occur?
