I'm starting Ameriflight Ground School!

I watched a captain do a partial panel VOR approach off his RMI with no HSI or altimeter with me giving altitude call outs.

In actual, with ice, after losing the cabin and the boots...and everything else on the number 1 dual fed bus.

pwnt.

The worst part was that was in the youngest aircraft in our fleet! Talk about a fluke...

See? That networking sh-- works, yo.

Lol, the way John and I have networked in the past this could work against me! Just kidding. I didn't know Jtrain was Herreshoff and where he worked until tonight. That's funny. Anyway, if I can get along with Max, (well Max does like Republicans) and Tony (Tony and I didn't talk much but also didn't end up in the MGM grand boxing ring at jetcareers Las Vegas) than I can get along with anyone. :) It's cool. Someone else will just have to take up the lav fighting for me during ground school. I nominate Old Skool Chunk.

Almost everybody ends up having to fly a partial panel, single engine, full procedure NDB or VOR approach. Or at least my trainee's do, and the only reason they do is because my training captain made me do it :)

Personally, I think it's a blast. I miss not doing that kinda stuff on a regular basis like when I was training.

Been there done that
I own that beeotch of a lesson

Wow...everytime I read that I'm blown away!!!

Oh, and I like cute moderate republicans!

I had about 1240 Total Time and 101 Multi. No turbine. 97 Instrument, 123 Night Time, 865 dual given, and about 5 actual (thanks AZ climate).

"Oh yes, I watched a captain do an HDG "raw data" ILS approach in a 767 during initial"

Heck, that's easy. You got lots of stuff working with the HDG. Wait tell you see a "standby power only" approach. Now that's a hard one. If you ever see it, be sure to offer to be the "autothrottles" for the Capt. It makes it way easier.
