We get paid by aircraft... not division (COEX, DeltaConnex, XJET). The exception is the corporate charter division as stated above.

I haven't been following the branded flying stuff. Just an honest question if the pay is the same what is the hype all about?

The food is better!

Honestly though, I think the hype is just that we were forced into a corner, and our management team decided to try something very "outside-the-box" even compared to what Independence Air did. It is a very different type of flying as opposed to what we had been doing... I'm personally excited because it means more work to ensure our customers are happy and have a good experience, rather than the mainline partner. It almost feels like I have a new job. I'm a lot more happy to go to work, even if my commute is a bit more stressful.

Put it this way: We are the underdog, and people think we are going to fail. Even if we do fail, I'd like to know I put a lot of effort into us not failing.

I've got a trip next month with a 2350 end time... looks like I'll be getting a good feel for the recliner until AA's first flight to DFW the next morning!
