No they do not. I usually wear a different color tie every day that I fly. The chief pilot really loves it when you get away from the normal uniform.

If you wear the Piano Neck Tie, you automatically get upgraded to Capt.

A spinning bow-tie or "Texas" tie are also acceptable.

I really don't think so. However, I did see an abundance of red ties when the last round of new hires came thru on their first day.

• Females - Ties will either be:
– The ladies chevron style; or
– The standard plain black wool or dacron tie.
Specialty tie wear dates:
• Patriotic Tie - June 27 thru July 7.
• Holiday Tie - December 15 thru January 7.
