Jet Transition ACPP course

I was wondering if anyone has tried to trade the Jet transition part of the ACPP course for the Regional Jet Standards course. I'm not quite sure what the cost of an hour in the citation is, but I could imagine its in the $2500 range, which is the cost of the Jet standards course. I'm also aware that I couldn't just do the Jet standards course, and that I'd have to do it in the future.

My school offered this course. I declined and am glad I did. It's been almost a year since I graduated and I don't see how I would have retained much of the info. that you are taught. It's a waste of money unless you willl be going straight into a jet after flight school IMHO!

I'm wondering the same thing. I've never heard of anybody doing that so I'm assuming it's not possible. Then again an hour of actual flight is as beneficial as 100 sim flights. I'm thinking flying a jet for real even for just a few hours is probably going to be more beneficial than the CRJ sim because you will have the feel for high altitude flying and the faster jet speeds.
