Help finding a "Pilot Shop" near Mississippi

Does anyone know a way to find a local pilot shop? I've tried the good ole' trusty phone book, internet and local pilots but still no luck.

If any of you are aware of a pilot shop that sells headsets near the lovely state of Mississippi, please help! I'd purchase online, but I'd really like to try on a pair before buying. David Clark ENC or Lightspeed ANR

I've been referred to Memphis and Birmingham. Anyone know anywhere else? Specifics?

It'd help to know *where* in Mississippi you are.

Olive Branch has some stuff and is in MS, but then that's practically Memphis.

Delta State University in Cleveland MS has a flight school, they may have a pilot shop. And I'd think Jackson MS has some flight training.

You'd have quite a drive ahead of you no matter where you went. Even places that have headsets for sale often don't have ANR's. You might check AirVenture at Olive Branch, but the only place I know has the DC ANR's is Downtown Aviation in Memphis. But call first if you plan to travel.

I believe that many retailers will allow you to order them and return them if you don't like 'em, so that might be easier.
 
Go out to Ratliff Aviation Services at GTR and ask Mickey if he has any headsets for sale.

Or...go to Lowndes County and ask one of the Taloney brothers.

If they don't...ask an instructor to help you choose something online.

Order two headsets and send back the one you don't like.

I was just in Tupelo, MS and both of the fbo's, Tupelo Aero and Southern Air, had headsets in their cases. Can't really tell you what kind they were.
