SKywest inviting for group interviews.

Yes, I went yesterday! It was basically a Hi, how are you, do you meet the requirements, do you have anything that can stop you on your record (diu , etc.).

They told me that everything looks good. I have 1220 Total time, 101 multi, and great airline experience being a dispatcher. However, I have only flown like 30 hours in the past six months. The guy interviewing me said that I my scan probably wouldn't be good enough right now to handle something going 380 knos. He told me that he just wanted to see me get some instrument time, and about 50 instrument hours later or so, come back and do a formal interview. He is probably right. I am instrument current by the regs, but do not really have any kind of ifr experience as of late.

Right now I need to look at getting my instrument skills back up, through some kind of course, or simulator work somewhere if I want to do this.

Just take Max along as a safety pilot!:) He needs to get his butt back in the cockpit anyways.:tease: I'm sure one of the PHX crew can help you out with info or help you get up to speed. You can bust out 50 hrs by the March interwiews.

I'd do it too. He has access to a plane, a sweet 182!

I don't get to fly the C182 unless the owner goes along usually. Probably the cheapest way to get knock the rust is to hop in a Frasca somewhere. Unless someone has a class D sim in the basement I could use!
