I've been looking for green correction tape to fix a few mistakes in my logbook, but cant find it anywhere. Anyone know where I could find some? Staples and Officemax were a bust.

I seem to recall getting it from Staples online, years ago. I ordered 10 bottles, but they dried up, after a few years, even closed.

Some knucklehead on one of these groups informed me that I could tint it with food color. Tried it, didn't work...made a nasty mess.

Now that I think about it though, some artist shops carry Universal Tints which can be used to color a wide variety of materials. Might work.

Don't use the green Liquid Paper. It's a mess! Makes your Jepp logbook look like crap. Either use the line-out method as Bob recommended (you are, after-all, human and are expected to make mistakes), or use the green tape. MUCH neater in appearance.

:yeahthat: I figured that one of the reasons ledgers and other records are not usually on white paper is to make it (slightly) more difficult to "doctor" the entries.

John Edwards on your fan club...killin' me...:)

Problem?

Only took you three days. :)

My campaign buttons and stickers came in yesterday . . . so I'm happy. Just have to wait to officially use them til I get back to Georgia. :)

You know what - I was also debating on putting Jim (from your [OUR] favorite) show as my avatar.

Draw a line through the error and initial.

-THEN-

Cut a blank page out of the back of your logbook and cut out a square the same size as the one you made an error in. Use a glue stick and put glue on both surfaces to be joined an then stick the new square on. If anyone took you to task on that (doubtful that would ever happen), you could peel the blank square off.

It looks good and at a glance looks perfect. Give it a try.

I love my micro blue Cessna CBI freebie. But I'll be glad to get rid of it. Right now it looks like I let a first grader tally it for me...
