SLC'ers: Looking for gouge on DPEs in the area

Time to schedule my instrument checkride, looking for DPE recommendations/warnings. My CFII is new to the area, I'll be his first recommend since he moved here, so he doesn't have good SA yet when it comes to examiners. I've already been told of one do-not-use-at-all-costs.

Corbin can tell you if you come to dinner. Or I could ask him, and reply, but that's more work for me. ;)
 
Matt I'll dig into my book I can't remember his name but he flies for HIghway patrol and did my Inst and Comm. I enjoyed those two checkrides more than the rest.
 
PM which one you are thinking about. I had two checkrides with two different SKYW guys and they were both unpleasant rides.
 
Just passed the Instrument Ride with Phil Widmer. I wouldnt call him easy, but he was very fair and there weren't any surprises.
