I don't know if I can contribute to this thread yet but I'm 90% positive I'm getting my PPL this summer at the age of 19.
 
I started when I was 15, Im now 16 and have 6 hours. I can take things relativily slow right now, but my goal is to have my PPL by next Spring when Im 17. I just need the money...

Im planning to take out $260 from my account in a few days, landings need practice.
 
I got mine on my 17th birthday on April 13, 2004 while I was a junior in high school. With 20/20 hindsight I would've flown LOTS more during my senior year and gotten the rest of my certs done. I would've long been a CFI by now. But in the past 2.5 years since getting my PPL I have learned a lot about myself and matured as an aviator, so I guess the time wasn't too wasted. I just wish I would've had a little more fun with my PPL as a high school senior.

I got my private when I was 23 almost 24 and my pvt multi and instrument when I was 24 almost 25 with an 8 month deployment in between
 
PPL at 20 in 2001 at DSU.:) November 3rd to be excact. It's my mom and little sisters birthday.
