What was your westwind experience like?

I will point it out as I see them pour in. I don't feel like going back through all your prior statements and point them out. I you say something not true, I will point it out from now on.
No it's because I haven't said anything that is false otherwise you would be all over it and told me. I'm sure you have gone over it and can't find the false info you claim I said. Your old excuse "too many to list" doesn't make sense because if there were so many it should only take you less than 5 minutes to even find one. Keep trying Jim and remember the ship is taking water on faster than you can bucket it out.

Who is Jim Pitman anyway?

Jim Pitman is the Chief Flight Instructor at Westwind, and also one of the most self-rightous, pompous @$$holes I have ever met in my life.
For a mormon, or anyone else for that matter, he is certainly NOT an upstanding citizen.

Jim, When all of your employees despise you, and you have an astronomically high turnover rate on all of your non-flying staff because of your abrasive personality, do you ever wonder if it is in fact YOU who is to blame?

A wise man once told me "If you're the kind of person who has problems with everyone, then you are most likely the one with the problem"

Words to live by, my friend!

Looks like this thread is turning pretty darned worthless.

If the posts don't start showing more useful information and a whole lot less name calling, I'll close it.

Quit acting like a bunch of petty school kids.

People who attend westwind just need to know what they're getting into, for better or worse.

That being said about all "academy-like" FBOs.

I don't know about that. I think a potential student should know what kind of Cheif Pilot is running the school, don't you? I think Embraer's post was very educational...

If you pull up Newbies posts they are all on westwind and has never posted in another forum. Take that for what it is worth. I never posted here and lurked for years until I started reading the crap he was posting.

Haha... just a quick look at your wopping 35 post show about 90% in the Westwind forums. What a joke. I don't post anything else here because of 2 reasons. 1. I already went through flight school, only have experience on (you guessed right) ONE flight school and only wish to share my experience on that one flight school. 2.) I don't care about which airline is hiring at what hours or anything else, why? Because I already HAVE a 121 job I wanted flying jets around. So I'm sorry if I don't give my time to post in other threds. I just really don't care much about the other posts.

And for those of you who think I'm Jim Pitman, just let me know a date and I will meet you to have a beer!

Westwind was a good place to get great training. The only downside was meeting Embraer and Chopshop.
P.S. Embraer CANNOT hold his liquor so be careful when meeting him for a beer!

Do you work for Mesa?

Franknes I heard that 250Blue was hired for the Feb something class? Can you confirm this?

Jim I will bring another morman with me so you don't drink all my beer okay. Since you went through my posts I will ask you again for the 6 th time at least, what have I said that has been incorrect as you claim?

You don't care what other threads are about because you are too busy defending your so called school of aeronautics which should just be renamed expensive FBO with fancy uniforms. Wait I don't think shorts with tennis shoes and the aviator shirt is too professional.

Choppie, read through my previous replys. I don't have time nor do I care much to go through all your prior remarks. I will call em as I see em. I don't think that pants/ or short and an aviator shirt makes a professional flight school either. Its just a uniform. So I guess if everyone wore pants all the time then it would be professional in your eyes... haha

You can't prove what I said was wrong pretty much makes you look stupid since you called me an idiot and can't prove what I said was wrong. I hope prospective students read this. I don't think wearing pants make it professional because westwind is not a professional program and misuses the word. They should have a polo for a uniform especially in the middle of the summer and you wearing 4 stripes sitting behind a desk surfing the internet acting to be an airline pilot is a joke. Again you have still failed in proving the false info I supposedly said.

Hell no. Who do you work for?

You're proud of your jet time, sound like a Mesa guy, but you must be Skywest.
I flew Saabs for Mesaba, real flying not jet flying, got laid off, and I miss it but doing other stuff now making good money flying old Lears for the government taking pictures for a government agency.
I make 3 times what I made at an airline, no reserve time, my schedule is set, and I don't have to fly with people like "you" at the airlines. In fact, when I commute home from work with my ticket and I see you, mr FO, sitting in your Jet with your left leg up resting next to the throttle quadent, I just smile and order a pre-takeoff beer from your FA.
You can take your jet time and smoke it in your pipe. It doesn't mean you're a better pilot than anyone else. It probably means you're underpaid and you're happy about that.
