Long time in airplane, no autopilot, and no potty.......

Some routine MX that we really couldn't do here.

Yes, "routine" mx is what it was. Everything in pax operations is "routine". "Routine" enough so that experienced mechanics who are currently working on the same type of airplane "just didn't have time". Better to ferry it 5 states away to fix that "routine" problem. After all, ferrying an airplane to get it fixed is also "routine". It's why airlines lose so much money!

"Routine". LOL :D! I love it when the CA says this, meanwhile the Bombardier guys are scratching their heads wondering why hydraulic fluid is pouring out of the cargo bay.

"Routine" yeppers.

Wow, hope you brought a good book.

Books, newspapers, ipods.......all come in handy on long flights. HOWEVER, I only wish I had them along....after all, the only thing I was doing during the flight was monitoring the AC systems and reading the company approved manuals!

But I'm sure you are well aware of S.O.P.'s Deuce-man! ;)

Hey Mark, do you need an autopilot like an RJ driver? Nope! You've got the guy sitting next to you!

Keep it up, funny guy. I think I use the AP less and less. I'm flying with a CA this month that hand flys a lot, so that's gotten me handlying a lot, most of the time up to cruise. Oh, and let's see the AP fly the River Vis to 19 in DCA..... :)
