Freight Dawg Job

I didn't see anything like that on their site. If that is the kind of place it is, well then obviously take a pass. I wasn't aware that they had anything like that.

Oh, yes! I remember interviewing a CFI at the flight school that was very proud of the 120 hours of Commander SIC he paid for there! That was a fun interview. :)

Another Key Lime Air type deal? Great, the disease is spreading. Anyone have a list of places that do PAY FOR JOB (not pay for training, two different things). I'd like the Pay for Job (PFJ) list of companies that make you pay for every flight hour you work so I can blacklist them in my own business.

I believe you can pay to work for Key Lime Air, SkyWay Enterprises, Alpine Air Express, and this place (Central Air).

If any of you guys take this job or any other freight job, I got news for you. You have to fly in crappy weather! You have a multi engine, ice approved airplane. Put on your big girl panties and deal with it. I'm tired of picking up Central Air's slack. Rant off.

Don't forget about Ameriflight, this site's poster child, also has a PFJ SIC "program". Just because a place does PFT/PFJ/whatever I wouldn't avoid it altogether without knowing all the facts.

CASW is a great place to build time and really push your limits as a pilot. Plus the Commander is just a cool plane. Check out some of the freight dog videos in it on flightlevel350.com.

Heard a story about centeral air, a fella walks in for the interview and the person interviewing him says "you don't have enought muti time, I'll be back when you do" put a pen in front of him and left the room....

I won't say when or where or who, but I was in the room for a VFR 135 initial ride and the same thing was said by the FAA POI about the pilot's night experience.
