UVSC Course Selection

I enrolled in the spring 2007 semester at UVSC to try to finish up my bachelors degree. I have a mixed bag of credits from all over but I have decided to transfer the few credits I have to UVSC and just get it all done there since their program really fits my schedule.

so.....for those who have attended I am doing the BS in Aviation Professional Pilot and I am looking to do a full course load of 15 credits. I am full time Marine Corps so I work around 55 hours per week and I am also full time flight training doing around 30 hrs per month so for the time being until I am out of the Marines I need 5 classes that are not gen eds or electives that I can do with relative ease and just get them knocked out. I am testing out of my gen eds and I have most of the electives covered so there is no need to take them. Any suggestions?

I cant remember all the course numbers but my first semester I took survey of aviation, the private pilot ground and flight portions, Aviation law, airtransport management, That was 12 credit hours and worked well while I was getting my PPL. PM me if you want my opinion about specific classes I have taken most of them now.

here is a list of some of the easiest aviation courses i have taken so far. i have about a semester left before i get my bs in aviation as well...

AVSC-1010: Survey of Aviation Science
AVSC-2160: Aviation Law
AVSC-2150: Air Transport Management
AVSC-3030: Air Traffic Control
AVSC-3300: Jet Transport Systems

most of the aviation classes are pretty easy.. some require that you take timed tests, but for the most part they arent timed.

this class is the hardest of the aviation classes...
AVSC-3010: Flight Environment
it requires you to do a super long log of the weather for 5 straight days, and then write a paper and answer questions on the weather patterns. i remember it took me forever to finish that part.

any other questions let me know, i might be able to help.

Definately the hardest class I have taken so far. It was more busy work than learning.
I just finished AVSC 3030 Air traffic control, it was pretty easy.

Thanks for the info everyone it is greatly appreciated. I am stepping into this school totally blind and it would really stink to pick 5 random ones that ended up being really difficult all while working full time plus some and flying 5 times per week....

I am going to go with riot shields 5 for the spring 2007 semester to get the ball rolling since they should be relatively easy and are requirements to graduate. Sound like a wise decision? Any other input?

That is a good starting semester. I have really enjoyed the UVSC program thus far.
