Phoenix, Arizona

That is the best way to do it guys. And be prepared for an interview that day. Come with everything you got! No excuses

Mesa's HQ is in same business complex and is the big black buiding across from the Doubletree. That great!:yar: Hey Mesa we're interviewing for pilots just across the street. I bet a bunch of Mesa pilot will be in attendance.:nana2:

My buddy and I got hired from the open interview in Denver. We did the HR portion and scheduled for the full interview (for me it was a week, but my friend flew to SLC and interviewed two days later). Be prepared for the ATP and the mech aptitude test though, I have heard of that happening at the open interview.

Good luck . . . we're all counting on you!

My TT is only about 600/160 multi/150 ins.....ATP written Complete...Do I stand a chance at the Group interview.....i know that the posted mins are 1000 TT....but i have heard people get hired at lower than that......I am just wondering...if flying down there from Toronto is a good idea or i am just setting myself up for disappointment?

I tried to apply online and I get booted out of the application after i reach the TT section.

Any advice will help.

I can't see any way to get an interview less than mins unless they are really interviewing ATP instructors with 850tt (I haven't heard of any).

A friend of mine was an intern at SkyWest, had a letter of recommendation from Jerry Atkin, and still had to wait for minimums. There may be one or two people squeaking by with lower time, but your chances with not knowing anyone and having only 600tt are pretty much none. And definately not worth a plane ticket. Hiring is supposed to go on for a while now, though, so keep working on the TT and you'll probably still have a shot.

I think this is the norm. If you don't got it, you don't got it, period. They dismiss people all the time from the group inteviews who are only a few hours shy.

You need the mins or you won't get to the full interview. We saw people who were asked to leave from the Den interview just short of hours (high 900s). I have a friend who just went recently to an interview who needs 10 hours of multi. They told him to get it and then contact them.
