Gooble,Gooble ATIS!

It's that time of year again. PHX D-ATIS says "gooble,gooble" in the automated message.

Anyone else wanna check in and report if they're also getting a gobble,gobble ATIS!

also, what's up with the winds in NYC? i hear it's supposed to top 34 mph - what is that in knots?
 
I just checked ATIS and it is still in robot mode until 0700 when the tower is in operation. I am flying this morning at 0900 and I will let you know.

Kristie- 29.57 knots

One knot equals 1.15 Miles Per Hour
 
No luck....my airport is VERY corporate in the ritzy SoCal area so more than likely anything deviating from the standard atis info would be out of the question.

It could be a legal issue though..you know how things are these days...someone hears "gobble gobble" on atis and they think they heard cleared for the ILS and crash and sue the controller for incorrect information.

On D-ATIS after they give the briefing in the artificial computer voice it ended saying "Happy Thanksgiving,Goble,Goble."

The funny part was how it sounded in the robotic computerized voice!
