yeah, at first I was pissed off that I wasted that much money, but after messing around with it for a little while things run pretty well.

ok wtf is up with the c172 g1000??? wheres the important controls like carb heat and •!! all i get is a bunch of controls for the mostly inop g1000 (nice nrst pages, arggg, sarcasm)....

anyway, pretty decent, still could use some more horsepower from my laptop, but its gettin there. got more tweaking still to do im sure...

I can't even get my computer to install the thing. It won't even start up the installation program. My disk drive was screwed up so I switched it out with a buddies. I thought maybe that was why, however it ran the FS2004 disks just fine. Seems that either my buddies drive or the drivers on my computer are out of date or something.

When we get vista installed on these computers we should probably be alble to run FSX at full graphics buttery smooth. 64bit operating system for teh win!

Well we're going from a 32bit operating system to a 64 bit. It's my understanding that that essentially doubles the capability of the proccessor. We've got the capability in our hardware, it's just windows XP thats holding us back. Or am I way off my rocker here? :insane:
